coldplay

Well, we didn't get tickets for the Toronto show, but Buffalo was awesome. Not only did we get to see an amazing Coldplay show, we got to spend the whole day at Darien Lake! We had great seats right at the back...okay at least we had seats. We were able to sneak up one section to watch the show from there too. The fans on the lawn weren't neglected either. Chris Martin let them know how lucky they were to be far away as Coldplay has recently been voted one of the ugliest bands in the UK by a European magazine.

The band did some really cool things to make the concert interactive too. During "Yellow" a pile of huge yellow balloons were dropped from the roof so the crowd could bounce them around. Chris even managed to get to a supporting pole in the middle of the audience and climb up while singing! The absolute coolest thing happened though when he asked for a phone from the crowd and serenaded an unsuspecting (and lucky!) person from their address book. The video footage was truly amazing as well. All I have left to do is go online and buy a T-shirt!
